The most common and well-known way is washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Do it especially after being in a public place.

Make it a habit to not touch your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

It is understandable that after being locked down at home, we all will have to go out to maintain a regular life. However, consider staying at home if it is not very important to go out. Avoid non-essential travel.
Maintain 6 feet distance from others in public areas.
You can stay connected with colleagues, friends, bosses, workers, etc through video and phone calls, texts, and social media.
Use masks, either home-made or ready-made to cover your mouth and nose. Do it before stepping out of your home. However, you should not cover the face of young children under age 2 with cloth coverings, neither cover those who have trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.

Clean and disinfect the surfaces that have been used on a daily basis including tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
